Aztec 5 + 1 = 6 See oedali above
Germany 5 - 3 = 2 This is tough, I like both, but I think Aztec is better.

Disregard, the other 2 slipped in before my post. Nuts.
Na you can still count it. I t just mean that Germany won on 4 instead of 7

Nice game! Thanks for playing. The ranking overall is ok, some minor changes here and there if I would have done it alone, but for an elimination game about such a hot topic: not bad!

I expected Rome and at least one of the Greeks to do better but it's hard to be classical and the greeks were also competing against eachother which is bad in those games (it also screwed Potala Palace and Alhambra in the wonder game). Of the top 5 the only one I finished a game with is Monty (although with the Germans I had a good unfinished game). I don't think I got Russia at all and did not have a good game as Arabia. Macedon I don't have at all. Perhaps the RNG that gives me leaders just gives me crap?

I'd probably put India, Japan and France somewhat higher but I won't know what to take down to get them there.
And Germany winning with 7 points really hurts. I'll never forgive or forget that game against Brazil :(

I'd thought that Arabia (can compete with deity AI in science PT by turn 200), Scythia (more and more horsemen) and China (every early game wonder) would be ranked at 2, 3, 4 respectively, but yeah, I like how this thread turned out.

The next elemination game should be about which Civ is the most fun to play.

In a way, this was already implied to be included here as well. Some people just ignored it and voted for strength only.

Yeah, the original intention was quality of abilities, not solely strength, mainly just overall.

Well done - I think the top 3 are spot on and the others aren't too far from where I would rank them (except Rome who was picked on a little too much).

Moderator Action: With Germany's victory, this thread is now closed.
