Do all the mods go on invisible mode now? I wanted to pm a question but none are online apparently...

I think mods shouldnt get invisible mode....
just like floppa said, it seems as if they are off line, but really are online, and we dont ask them what we need to ask becuase we assume they are gone.

I wasn't being REAL serious... I mean, I do have a specific question that I am thinking only two mods could answer for me... But this is not an issue that is a constant problem, at least not for me. :shrug:

We had an 'issue' where people would watch to wait until there were no Mods on-line and then try to wreak havoc.
I don't think many people have a question that has to be answered that minute anyway. If you don't see a Mod on-line Pm the one(s) who you think would be most likely to be able to answer your question.
But, no, don't expect to see a Mod on-line every minute of the day. Some of us do have lives ya know.

well, it may be just me, but when I am in need of a mod, I go the forum slection thing, place, where most usually show up as being online (or at least XIII, and Padma do, the mods who i know best, and prefer to talk to when I ever have forum troubles)
Why would it matter if no Mods were on-line when they wreaked havoc? They'd get caught within a couple of hours anyway when one did check in.
Because sometimes the type of havoc may not be appropriate to sit for hours.

Indeed. That is one reason I haven't used invisible mode since I became a mod - I am online quite a bt, and even if I am actually busy "elsewhere", a quick look at the main forum page shows a mod's "presence".
And of course, if I have been busy with my job, or whatever, the first thing I check when I get back is my PMs.

We have quite many frequent mods nowadays, spread across the time-zones (big hint -> me 
). Chances of that happening are somewhat lesser...

It's that thing, you know, that people do, when they, you know, don't sit in front of that glass box thinging with all the pretty picutres on it. . .
Something about other people. . .jobs. . .school. . .I don't know. Doesn't sound much fun, don't really want one.
I can say that I'm online overnight mostly (in the US) and usually see a mod on. Not trying to say that we can handle it, but I've see a lot of posters speak up when someone gets out of line and haven't been moderated yet. I guess you could call us WBM - WannaBe Mods. . .
