custom map and scenario crashes game at start-up

sorry if this has been answered somewhere else. i searched and searched but could not find.

i can create and play a duel map/scenario but a standard size mape/scenario crashes at start-up. my map is 84 x 52 10 civs and 11 city-states
i have all the video options set to low or minimum

help please. i got the latest patch

i resolved my issue. i used the standard map sizes. along with the standard number of civs and city-states as referenced here http://http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1580535
