Custom maps... don't work.

So I downloaded the Azeroth map for Civ 5...

I put it in C:\Users\-my name-\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\Maps\ , and I also put it in C:\Users\-my name-\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\TransferredMaps

However, I cannot seem to find it anywhere in my game under Mods or anything else.

What am I doing wrong here?

As far as i am aware of, you should be able to launch maps via the scenario option, not via mods.

That seems to have worked, however, whenever I run them, they don't have custom names for the places like the Azeroth map does and stuff.

Why not?

Names should be map dependent, so if you don't see names, then there are maybe no names. Ask the map creator, if there should be some .
