Cyber Nations

While most of the rest of your posts are okay, I have one word for you, post #531. It's obvious there is no use arguing with you. If you ever attack me you'll regret it. Go away CN troll.

Ooookay, keep losing wars and blaming everyone else for it. I mean, it's been working well so far, right?

And you need to get a little bigger before leveling threats.

89.68%. I just gave away 50 tech for a fellow FAN member, but I'll be getting another school in a day or so.

And Scamp, you're wasting a LOT of money every day with 1000 infra. Should sell 1 level, go down to 999 and you'll see your bills decrease by loads.

Hehe, I get 22K taxes and about 6K bills. So it's not fast to collect money to pay my loan to the alliance leaders...

But I didn't want to bother you always, and I prefer loaning from alliance members. There's a small interest in the loan but it gives more money to alliance's war machine.

How do I keep my upkeep cost down? I earn 400K a day but after expense I'm only left with 2K.

(or you could just send me money ;) The nation's Durkar)

Every time you pass the 99 or 999 infrastructure level, the infra upkeep goes WAY up. If you have 1 more infra level than 999, like PrinceScamp does, you'll notice it shoot it so high that you won't be left with any cash after paying bills. After you get up to, in your case, 1260 you'll see the bill situation go back to more manageble. Also, banks would help you get some more money. If you think you could do this try it:
1) Don't pay bills
2) Destroy a factory and buy a clinic
3) Destroy another factory and buy another clinic
4) With the added population buy a factory back

The next time you collect taxes you'll have a lot more money. I was collecting around 450k a day with 380k in bills. I got rid of my factories and my 2 Labor Camps, bought 2 schools, a university, and 2 clinics. My collection went to up 720k and my bills are around 390k. By the next tax collection you should be OK on cash.

Also, you're resources are exactly what mine were yesterday. I had a marble/fur trade that I got rid of in favor of a water/marble and it gave me even more happiness and cash by improving my environment.

Hope it helps.

So who has the highest ltieracy rate?

Mine is 67.14%, It was higher but I gave 20 tech away to help out a fellow GATOan's nation and secure a trade deal.

I have the highest literacy rate, 96.92% which gives me scholars (I'm one of the very few people in CN with 8 bonus resources).

As soon as my wheat trade goes through I'll have 7. Then after a few more tech or another school I'll also have eight! :D

I have steel, autos, construction, asphalt, microchips, and radiation cleanup.

I only have three. How do you guys end up with five or more bonus resources?

I hunt through other nations until I find the right grouping. I have 2 trades outside my color which I needed. People have told me that bonus resources don't matter as much as having resources that help whatever you want to build in your country. If you're looking for more population, you need whatever does that; if you want to be an infra machine, you need the bonus stuff that Greenpeace and I have. It took me a few weeks to get everything down right.

The biggest problem comes from losing a trading partner due to inactivity.

Buy tech. Lots of it. Tech keeps expenses down.

Speak of the devil. Just came home from taking care of my horse and found I had my 7th bonus. After dickering around a bit, I managed to buy another school, then another clinic, giving me my 8th!

haha, congrats

Actually I would disagree with this because tech increasese NS which reduces the tech infra upkeep reducer bonus so it is really of minimal importance. It is much better to buy lots than spend money on tech. If you do spend tech at least do tech deals instead of money extremely expensive tech.

Well, yeah, to a point tech is good. But I was working on the assumption that he didn't have very much tech, so it would be beneficial.

Then again, I don't know too much about the specific numbers in CN, just the basic gist of how it works. So... I wouldn't know what the point is where the tech stops working towards the infra reducing the upkeep.

I've still got 5 more days of war to trudge through before I can get to rebuilding. Assuming more asses don't gang up to keep me down.
