Welcome to the Cyc Corporation. These are the very first days of Cyc Corp, and what glorious days they are. We have brought together the companies of Southern Bavaria in a commercial venture that should stand the test of time. Cyc Corp will be operating on the Lands of Manitou, and endeavor to achieve the goals laid out before us.

First, we will be going through a period of contraction. During this time, our companies will actually disolve, releasing assets and giving up the names that have made them well known in our community. The base or foundation of each of the companies will remain and be brought under the wing of the Cyc Corporation. Through the accounts of the Cyc Corporation, gold will flow to build new structures and grounds to hold these companies. Three new Castles will be constructed in Manitou, each with its own purpose and destiny. But before I show you the displays of the new Castles, let me give you the quick tour of Manitou Castle:

Manitou Castle was built on Tile -3/0 some time ago, when our nation was still young. In fact, because of the proximity of the Aztecs, Manitou Castle was once called The Salient, as it was built on the southern perimeter of Fanatika. A fairly large Castle, Cyc not only runs the corporation from here, but lives in the Castle as well. By the way, the Manitou castle is not part of the Cyc Corp, it is merely leased by the corporation, as are the Land Tiles used for the businesses. Now off to the other grand structures:

One of the aforementioned properties leased from the Manitou Estate is Victory Mountain. Home to the famed Das Schweize Alpenhaus, Mt. Victory holds the world's greatest ski resort. This ski resort (to be renamed at the grand opening) has been given a new Castle, and it is called Seig castle...

This is how you would see it coming down the slopes.

In the hills above the Bavarian Forest lies our second new Castle. This is an extraordinary Castle, built mainly for strenth and security in the area. Besides being structurally sound and defensively placed, its color is attractive and can be seen from miles away. The only corporation business in the Castle (to be named later) at this time is security forces for the area.

Our last new Castle is located in the beautiful Bavarian Forest. Its a locale many of you have seen already. It is where the Bavarian Smokehouse and the Cattleman served the finest meals in the land. In fact, this is so special, we are going to use the next post for it.

As promised, the Bavarian Smokehose and the Cattleman Smokehouse have been combined and are receiving a facelift. Gone are the rurul settings and home style cooking atmosphere, where the aroma of fine foods permeated the pines to draw you closer. Now in its place stands...The Bavaria Castle...

The Bavaria Castle will serve as the home of the new Restaurant which will now include a Theatre. Also in the foyer and main room as you enter Bavaria Castle, you will find the first exhibits of the Fanatika National Art Museum.

The Restaraunt/Theatre is yet to be named, but by the Grand Opening, that should be resolved.

@BCLG100 - Officially only two. The Ski Resort and the Restaraunt/Theatre. Although we are planning to create more businesses as time goes by. One of which will be the security forces I mentioned earlier. We also draw food supplies from the farmlands that Cyc has to the NW. This is a cost-saving move and is actually not a change, but the way it has always been. As our corporation grows, each step will be handled by the lawyers of AP&N, as were these first steps. So if you're leaning towards any legal questions, Sir BCLG100, please direct them to AP&N.

Ah, I see, BCLG100. Thank you for the offer, but during this period of contraction, we will only be thinking about possible expansions. As major construction has slowed our cash flow, we are basically in a "wait and see" frame of mind. But please, keep in touch.

Cyc Corp will be accepting resumes on a continual basis. We will be starting a labor pool to draw from. *Cyc glances at DZ * We have no positions open presently, but that may change soon.

This is the Corporate Thread. This is where news and events will be posted about the Corporation and all the different aspects of the business world it covers.

New threads will be started to announce the Grand Openings of the individual businesses. We're very sorry for the delays, but they were unavoidable. With the official business week starting tomorrow, these Grand Openings will commence as soon as possible. We will be working diligently until the work is complete, rest assured, Sir donsig.

Official Announcement

There will be a Ribbon-cutting Ceremony at the Bavaria Castle later today (at approximately 2000hrs GMT). The Grand Opening of the Palette, Fanatika's return to fine dining, will be celebrated along with the first exhibits of the Fanatika National Art Museum. We hope you can all attend and enjoy a meal. Special entertainment has been arranged in the main stage. More on this later.

It has been a good week thus far as Bavaria Castle has opened its doors and is now offering services in the Palette, Fanatika's return to fine dining and the new Fanatika National Art Museum.

President Eklektikos was on hand to dedicate the honor of being the first National Museum for Fanatika to the FNAM. The President was then given the inaugural dinner at the Palette.

Hopefully, later this week, we will see the Grand Opening of the Wunderbar. Nestled in the slopes of Mt. Victory, the Wunderbar is the premier ski resort of the world. Located at the new Seig Castle, it will offer the entire spectrum of the ski world. Hope to see you there.

The Wunderbar
The big news this week is the opening of The Wunderbar, the premier ski resort of Fanatika. As you may well know already, this grand opening takes place after extensive re-working of the original ski resort here on Mt. Victory. Seig Castle has been built to house the resort and needed side businesses. (Please let us know if you'd like to start a shop in the Seig Castle.) The Wunderbar is now open for your enjoyment.

Merlin is a star
At the Bavaria Castle, the Palette is doing tremendous business. The restaraunt, which not only serves the finest foods in Fanatika, but also has a stage for entertainment, seems to have produced a star. Merlin, a local artist discovered by Cyc, is displaying his firework wonders for the guests. As amazing as his show is, it is rumored that he is introducing a new grande finale this week sometime.

On a Higher Plane
The Fanatika National Art Museum's first exhibit, "Theurgy", has been a sucess so far. The exhibit may take one's thoughts to dwell on the powers that be, ideas that may be on a grander scale than we humans.

While this exhibit is due to run through the Holidays, a smaller second exhibit has been started. Focusing again on local artists, the museum has a "surrealistic pop" culture exhibit. These art works were donated to the museum, as we encourage all Fanatikans to express their artistic side, and therefore desrve a place in the FNAM.
