Anyone know what ancient greek walls looked like?

I tried making one with seven gates, but im not sure if it looks very ancient greek:

From some pics of what remains in Mycenai i gather the wall was somewhat round, but do you have in mind any reconstruction that is based on facts?

I found a nice game about the ancient era and modelled the fort after the greek one in it ;)

But if you want to you can still help, with ideas about the metropolis.

Yeah, the key is the stones were massive. The later Greeks, when they saw them, had no idea how people could have moved the stones there, so they assumed a Cyclops did it. BTW, we still haven't really any idea how they did it, we're just less likely to blame a Cyclops ;)

That looks fairly classical actually. It doesn't look quite Mycenaean, however, so it depends on what you want.

:bump:

I am currently in the process of creating two forts of Ancient Greece, and am using my model for the old fortified Spartan set as the regular fort.

I was wondering if anyone has suggestions as to how a larger fortress of Ancient Greece would look like. It is of the classical period :)
