I think that response would have been perfect 5 turns ago. Now that we're having tension with KISS (I didn't find those short responses from KISS nearly as hopeful as you did) I think it may be wise to strike a slightly more conciliatory tone.

Don't get me wrong – I think the message was just fine – I'd just like to see some more "we're sorry we surprised you" and "we're just heading north" and maybe even some "we'll try to get in TNT's way and pass on some intelligence to you as we scout" – you know, just some stuff to make them feel a little better.

I'm just worried that if the KISS relationship goes south, we may really want to recruit Dnuts as an Ally.
