Dates

I'm building a D-day scenarios, and I was wondering what I should do about the dates. In some I've seen the date has been changed to "turn 1" or "week 1". How do you do this?

In the labels.txt file the dates (Jan, Feb, Mar, etc...) should be listed. You can change these to whatever you wish. You can also change the number by using the Cheat Menu and working with the "interim turn". Also, you can change BC and AD in labels.txt.

Just make sure that you save a copy of the orginal labels.txt in your scenario folder and edit the copy so you don't corrupt any of the original files.

look at the zweiter weldkrieg as an example for the week implimentation. Specifically, you need to set the starting number which counts by month from 2000 BC or something and then the turn increment.

thanks, I figured it out

Different problem, same heading. I have notice that 2/3 through the game (sorry no more specifics) a nice one year per turn countdown toward 4000bc from 4200bc suddenly converts to AD. Maybe I hit the cheat menu or something though...
