Looks like Soul_Warrior has popped a hut with something besides his explorer and built a military unit. I've managed to find a pair of huts (thanks for CB and will pop the 2nd next turn). Has everyone met their AI pair yet? Have you each found a couple of goody huts? (Remember the rules on preventing barbarians?)

Each main land mass had about 12 huts, so there's more out there. I just spotted my third, but it's not in a path I intended on exporling.
BTW: I mentioned earlier the rules for hut popping, in case you haven't seen this chart before:
At Monarch level (EXP tribe):
City 5% (13,3%)
Tech 15% (33.3%)
Gold 10% (13.3%)
Settler 10& (13.3%)
Map 10% (13.3%)
Warrior 10% (13.3)
Nothing 0% (0%)
Barbarians 40%
However there are a couple rules:
For Gold: Hut must not be on any type of resource or luxury
Maps: Always available
Nothing: Always available
Settler: Player must not have a settler active or in production and must be less or equal to average city count (total world cities / # of tribes)
Skilled Warrior: Unit must be available to player & barbarians and must have be built or is available build now.
Tech: Player must be in the Ancient Age
Barbarians: Player not EXP and hut not adjacent to city and player must have at least 1 military unit & player must have at least 1 city & unit popping hut must not be all-terrain-as-roads (Explorer)
If anyone is interested, I can send them a couple of my general stuff document which has this table.
