Defensive GLs?

Im fairly certain it's twice difficult (or chances are 50%, depending on how you wanna look at it.) IE. 1/24 with HE, 1/32 without.

Not quite guys. It's 50% more difficult.

1 in 16 chance offensive (1 in 12 with heroic epic)
1 in 24 defensive (1 in 18 with epic)

I'm almost sure chances are halfed (so it is 100% more difficult), too, at least that is what SirPlebs Strategic Article about leaders says.I haven't run tests, but my experience supports its half the chances.It happens, but rarely.Here the original quote:

You can get a leader when an elite wins while defending as well as from attacking. The chances of getting a leader from a successful defense are 1/2 the chances while attacking, i.e. 1 in 32 without Heroic Epic, 1 in 24 with Heroic Epic.

I've only got one MGL from defending. I had been desperately trying to get my first leader in the game (so I could build the academy) by attacking with lots of elites and then I finally got it by defending

I'm recently playing a lot of Always War games and that generates a lot of MGL's on defense. And they survive as well.

I just got one today) From 72 MGLs so far, only one was defensive. Its my second Demigod game. Lots of WAR and lots of leaders!
