Read De Maupassant Here

This set is the best one in the new series :) but the fortification near Lyon looks weird in the shadow of the city...
BTW by that time people used to read Chretien de Troyes instead of Maupassant ;)

Just a little note, we french don't say (or shouldn't say) "a book written by de Maupassant" but "a book written by Maupassant". Anyway I'm pretty sure you know Chretien de Troyes, since he wrote many books on Arthur and the Round Table.

Great work, Kyriakos! With the new angle the series is quite perfect! :goodjob:

Isn't there a way to have lighter shadows ? Something like the green shadows used by the ressource gfx ? Could this be used for transparancy in order not to hide an other gfx under a black shadow ?

A bit of transparency would be nice... if someone got an idea about it, please share it. And you don't have anything to change about the lightning Kyriakos, it is perfect.

If you are going to have shadows around cities, you must first include some terrain around the city, grass, rocks, sand......., the terrain should be part of the city graphic, then when you make the city the shadow should be transparant before you make it into a PCX so the terrain features can be seen through the shadows.
