We DO have to make sure that HE doesn't build it first, though. We don't want our vassals getting it either but that's easy. Charlie or lincoln would be fine, as would just capping mansa instead of winning favor.

Take Bibracte MM is researching extremely fast he's getting RR in 3 turns while he switched this turn. There will be beakers from prev turn in it but he will run away a bit in techs. NP we already have much more power than him so he's dead if he goes cultural and he's still far from launch.

AL in we may trade with MM i suggest waiting with this trade until MM goes AL himself. Start building factorories MM builds broadway and i trade wheat for hits.

One heavily wounded defender remaining, we can wipe Brennus out now. However he's willing to give up demo for peace and he has physics. The remaining city is fair but we have > 30 fair cities already. In a way i hate not wiping him out but demo and physics for virtually no effort at all is attractive.

When our cities come out of revolt we'll be close ~55% land to domination. We probably don't need civic switches as we'll have enough happiness to lower the slider again when war is over. I'd keep things very simple from here, finish steel build some drydocks and kill MM or Charlie. I'm sure this was my last set in this game.

You pressed the slider around there. It's normal, not a crush :)
 
Slider? I didn't do a max zoom in and max zoom out didn't help. If this is normal there should be an easier way to get out of it.

I am sorry if my answer was cryptic. I understand you were pissed off.
Here I add 2 screenshots to illustrate the issue. It's not the zoom which potions the camera closer/further to the "ground" but the 'field of view' which changes the viewport angle.
Edit: Damn, Soriana, don't look at the spoilers, I figured I loaded the game (needed BUFFY mod) "wanna me god"

Zooming in/out w/ view of field 1 will virtually does nothing.
 
Oh my what an idiotic feature. Designers (of bug mod i take it?) would have been better adviced imo to make splitting of stacks and goto city functionality working. I did that in a mod 2 years ago and it worked great but i can't use it in SG and games from ST unfortunately.

I must have clicked that slider when i tried to move a unit with the mouse across multiple screens and the ironic thing is that i had to do that because we have no goto city shortcut in civIV like in civIII. Yes i'm seriously pissed off about that but thx anyway bestsss :goodjob:.

What is your plan Shyuhe?
If you go for MM instead of Charly (and Lincoln), you can trade luxuries from BurgerKing... unless our cities don't need it once the war unhappyness wears off. Not much to say really, this game is won.

I wonder if I will see the save again :)

edit: as Charly has combustion, MM seems the target of the day :)
 
Yeah with 55% land domination is safe and pretty fast (fastest on a per turn basis from here). MM does look to be the juicier target. I wonder how quickly we can cap him -----> would that give us enough land/pop?
 
Can somebody else pick it up? Sorry but it's looking like I won't have time to play this until the weekend. Just got swamped...

OK Shyuhe no problem... not sure I can play before this week end either as I am up in the SGOTM, so if Rusten or TMIT can take it... otherwise we'll just wait a couple of days to finish this :)
 
I'm doing concrete work with my dad mostly for the next few days (hmmm, I could definitely use this workout, little sore but not as bad as expected), and I'm pretty beat (going back out there for some night work too).

I've got plans for all of saturday too, so unless I can finish quickly and sneak time on friday, I'll be unable to do the finishing round too, at least before sunday.
