Demo Vs Full Game

HI I was wondering if the requirements for running the demo differ from the requirements for running the full game. The reason I am asking is that I downloaded the demo from steam and everything seems to run fine for the 100 turns, yet a utility I ran says that my video card does not meet the minimum requirements (ATI RADEON 4200 HD)

If the demo runs on your machine the full game should also run on your machine.
