Finally got Solaris working...

Oooh. Java desktop! How is it? Was it hard to set up? Cause I'm considering getting Solaris again.

It wasn't too bad. I had a bit of trouble getting my video card to work with xorg that was included with Solaris 10 (it works fine on any other *nix, I don't know why it doesn't work in Solaris), but I tried switching X to xsun, and after that it worked fine.

In the lower right? The figure startled me the first time I noticed it (after I had set it to my wallpaper).

printscreen your desktop and paste into any photo program. It should ask you if you want to enlarge the canvas - confirm. If that isn't an option, most modern photo programs have a resize feature.

I see you have it on Photobucket... it resizes it if the filesize is too big. Try doing a screencapture again, pasting it into Paint, and then instead of saving it as Desktop.bmp, save it as Desktop.jpg (I think Paint can save as jpg... correct me if I'm wrong)

I have a Japanese keyboard too, but it isn't IBM, and one of the letters is coming loose... I did scan a keyboard at work once to make a placeholder graphic.
