Did anyone get excited about the Sims ad in their box?

In my DVD case for Spore, there was a little advert for The Sims 3.

Did it excite anyone else as much as it did me?

Eeen the Sims 3 looks pretty much like Sims 2 but with porkier people. I do like the open environment though.

It looked interesting, but I'd rather be able to buy most of these addons for Sims 2 in one cheap package once Sims 3 comes out. I absolutely refuse to buy them seperately, but I would like more build options and stuff. I also saw one of these Sims 2 Machinima music videos on YouTube, which looked like you get to play with a load of hi-tech machinery, maybe with the at-work addon or something

I don't see much difference from sims 2? So will wait and see.I remember saying to myself after sims 2 came out and I got EP1 nah, what a let down but 5 EPs later and heaps of mods it is good sometimes.... It worries me all these new versions where will it end? SIMs 10.-actual virtual people in a box?

I didn't even notice it, I was too eager to get Spore installed and start playing. Guess I'll have to take a look when I get home tonight.

I didn't see an ad, but I got the Galactic Edition, mailed.

I got but since I only bought Sims 2 last month, I probably won't be buying it when it comes out especially if it has the same DRM as Spore.

I don't believe it will have Spore like DRM. But who knows, we can only hope

There is no DRM with Sims 2 have installed it on multiple pc with no ill effects
same as well with Spore
-1 laptop no good graphics
-1 PC geforce 4 not enough
spent $900 AUD, Spore works on it. no probs 3 installs!
