Difference b/t civnet, civwin, civdos

OK what is the difference between these guys? I have the DOS version, is civnet online? I realize civwin is for windows (but what vers. of windows)

IIRC = "if I recall correctly".

Civnet and CivWin are Windows games. I think Windows 3.1.
Civ for DOS looks much better (though some will probably disagree). But apart from the graphics the game is exactly the same.
