"different files" message since Vista x64

hi,

a friend and me played already some games with direct ip-connection (most games with rise of mankind) without problems.

Now he changed from win xp 32bit to a vista 64bit, and each time he joins the game it appears the message "player files difference from host" (or similiar), but we can not find any differences.

Is it possible, that this is only caused by the vista 64? (I have xp 32bit.)

I get this too using Windows 7 Enterprise (32-bit). Everything seems to run fine in the PitBoss game though.
