I always play the standard (or custom player made) civ game, with an occasional scenario. I've been wanting to play a CTF style game and wondered how it worked, as well as what all these options do:
Elimination
Regicide
Mass Regicide
Capture the Princess
Reverse Capture the Flag (disabled?)

This will probably be moved to the Conquests board, but whatever.

Elimination-Once you or anyone else loses one city you're dead.

Capture the Princess is capture the flag, but it is currently really bugged. Regicide, you have to kill the king and mass regicide you have to kill multiple kings. I'm not positive what reverse capture the flag is.

Elimination seems like a 5 minute game or overly defensive if longer.

Regicide doesn't sound too bad, basically a one shot CTF. IF you play with multiple Civs, it works out okay I bet.

Mass Regicide, multiple kings per civ? How many is mulitple?

CTPrincess...buggy huh? How is it different from that tutorial conquest? It seems like a simple programming task, so I wonder why it's buggy.

RCTF - probably escort style movement, like a VIP. Seems to be disabled though.

CTP is buggy. You can't capture princesses of your team, however the act of capturing the enemy princess turns it to your team. One would think that this would be trivial to fix. Sad thing is it used to work.

RCTF is used in many of the conquests (including the tutorial). Yes, they are escort missions.

Elimination Multiplayer games can last long, especially since many players ofcourse choose civs with Ancient Age UU:s. Usually Elim. games last a few hours, atleast they have when I've played.
