Difficulty levels

I've played all 3 civs and not once, not ONCE have I been able to finnish the game on any level past monarchy.

Anyone have any usefull tips? I'm always amazed at how people can even finnish let alone win a game set on Deity

If you look at the GOTM (Game of the Month) forums, you can read the spoilers thread for GOTM7. GOTM7 was Deity level, so you can see how some players won. Also in that forum, Zachriel and Sulla gave links to a site where they posted their stories in more detail. The strategy articles forum has some articles on beating deity. Otherwise just keep reading tips from this, the strategy articles, and General Discussions forums for some tips and practice. If you read some of the succession games you might get some strategies also.
