For about 100 turns now, the diplo situation in my game is deadlocked.
Turn is about 480, huge map, 21 nation, highest difficulty. I play Rome, and have always been friends with the germans. In the beginning, i was friends with many others too, as was Germany, we both were friends with France too. Everything changed after Germany captured a city states. Denouncation after denouncation, first only against Germany, then against me for sticking with them. Finally, after 2 other common friends, France too asked me to support their denouncing of our common friend. Of course i rejected with the obvious consequences. Ever since then, i supported Germany with DOWs and denouncations. Now we are at war with everybody else, except for the always friendly Huns, themselves always a favourite target of gangbanging.
The war is going well, i hate those disgusting, stupid, arrogant and impertinent hypocrites and will destroy them all. They´ve called me warmonger without reason, and i have changed that now. But, there should be other options too. It can´t be, that 18 nations sit together in a constant circle jer*k and hate us for the rest of the game.
Please create the possibility for intrigues, or "active measures" as the Russians call it, to seed discord , distrust and hate among others, among friends and enemies. It could
cost gold(of wich everybody has plenty) and culture, and make other denounce each other or worse.
