I think it is time to introduce the diplo game feature officially! I really like the idea, which is this:
You just play a multiplayer game, preferably with as much people as possible, and negotiations are allowed.
I haven't got much experience with these games - I'm playing one with two of my brothers, and one with only Håkan (which doesn't make sense, since we're the only big civs in the world and we're allies) -, but my guess is that it would mean that smaller civs will ally with each other, because the big ones are the biggest threads. That way, it's very hard to win a game. I wonder very much how such a game will work out.
I believe some at CivFanatics (like drake) have experience with this, so maybe they can inform us more.
I am reserved to say this, but these games are already being played at <IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/cwm8.gif" border=0>Apolyton. But there it appears that - and I'm talking about games played by very experienced players, and this is also what Woke23 told me - no one will have war. War is the last option to a solution of a problem. If you do declare war to someone, everyone else will declare war to you. And if you ever break an alliance and attack the same turn, or do something else shameful, no one will ever play another diplo game with you again.
But that's their situation. To me, winning is the goal and one way or another you always need war to get it. I mean, we'll see how it goes.

B.t.w.: bear in mind that such a game can take a very long time! I'm talking months. But personally, I think it's a very lot of fun and I hope to get some replies from you guys. I'm willing to take the time.
