hi

since the strategy post won't open i have a question i'll post here. i've only played on chieftain level....i've had from one computer opponent to the max and no matter how many gifts i give they all wind up ganging up on me..i tend toconcentrate on building up just 3 or 4 cities to start. i've played 6 games and lost 6 games..


how do i get allies, i've given gold and everything and they still gang up on me.

help..lol

The AI usually attacks the weak, the games you have lost when you checked the powergraph how was your power compared to the others?

If it was much smaller then the other tribes then thats the problem. You need to increase your power, easiest to do this is to withhold a larger army, if you have lesser units then another tribe he sees you as weak. To be able to hold a large army you will need lots of gold. to be able to do that you need more cities.

With other words, dont stop expanding after just 4 cities.

When you are about equal in power or stronger you will be able to ally with them. If you are weaker then them they dont see any advantages to be allies with you.
