Direct IP problems with one player

Hi,

One of my friends is encountering problems when playing BtS in Multi (Direct IP). Out of 5 people playing, me being the server, 1 of them cannot join the game. Here are the specifics of the problem :

- BtS is 3.13 for every player
- I opened/forwarded every port listed for multiplayer play (took the list here on the forum)
- Player who can't join my BtS games doesn't have a router, and his Windows firewall is disabled
- Normal Civ4 and Warlords work perfectly fine : everyone (same players) joins the game without problems, the game goes fine, ...
- When he tries joining, he gets a message "Unable to join game xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx" (or something like that, the message is in french... )
- One last noticeable fact is that he is the only one having major problems with Skype (that we always use to talk while playing): he's unable to listen to one of the other players, always the same, and after 10 minutes we'll only hear white noise from him.

I am getting out of ideas of things to check and try (checked that he had no firewall/router, tried with just him joining my game, not working either, ...). Does anyone have a clue what might be going on here ?

Is he playing with someone else on a lan or through the same router? If you are serving your computer may see 2 computers coming from one ip address and not allow him to join if someone else from the same ip address is already on.

Nope, he is alone on his own connection.
