Disable scrambled continents + nations dlc for MP?

Two questions:

If I have the scrambled continents + nations DLCs and the person I wanna play multiplayer with doesn't, do I need to disable the dlc's?

In case we can connect without me disabling it first, what if I'm host and choose a scrambled nations script to generate the world, can the other person play on the same map with me without having the DLC herself?

I ended up trying out both things with my girlfriend and you're right on both accounts (unfortunately)

What is completely infuriating however is that my gf once played single-player on my PC and when she wanted to continue the game on her laptop, we copied the safe-file and it wouldn't play because of missing dlc. This is really infuriating, we both have exactly the same dlc's apart from the scrambled nations & continents scripts. (And no she didn't use any of the new scripts to create the world).
