Discovering civs with privateer

In my current game I discovered all of the other civs with a privateer (hidden nationality) and they didn't appear in the lower right corner. I can contact them by going through the foreign advisor, but I can't see their scores or have the convenience of clicking on their names. Any other way to make them appear?

I am reasonably certain you just have to click on your own name. If you click on it once you hide all scores but yours, click on it again to reveal them.
