Hi, Im wondering if someone has an answer for this. I am wanting to build a Science District on a tile that has Wood's on it. Is there a way of being able to chop down those Wood's and have the production go into the Science District? Like say from an Overflow? Building a Granary and Chopping down the Woods so that the Granary is completed and the remaining Production from the Chop goes towards the District? I think I remember a mechanic like that in Civ 5 but im not sure....

Yes, you can have your current build done. And when nothing is selected in the production queue, chop the woods, and then place the district. Chop should be assigned to your district.

If you are building let’s say a granary, chop it, and then place the district, remaining shields from chop should be automatically assigned to the district (unless you had a second building placed on your queue).

A good rule of thumb is to pre-chop tiles you want to change (either by district, wonder or another type improvement like a terrace farm).
