DLCs - your response and habits a few years in

The Grey Fox has a magic hood that is a daedric artifact, although I don't know if there is a mod that ads it (probably though). I haven't bothered with Wyrebash and BOSS, too much hassle for their worth and I haven't needed them yet anyway.

What are the good Skyrim mods?

DLC is a really cynical model IMO. It is staggering an expansion pack's worth of content so more money can be made by splitting it up. More than this though, what's offered by DLC is rarely of interest to me and, I suspect many older gamers, who want our base game enhanced by new mechanics, systems, and other more meaningful changes thn 'horse armour'. Just read an anouncement that the first DLC for Fallen Enchantress is a $5 map pack. A map pack for a randomly generated TBS. I don't know, maybe I'm just way out of touch and people genuinely find this value for money.

If you compare the price one for one yes DLC's are cheaper. But if you do it by content per dollar DLC's are a lot more. To return to The Elder Scrolls, Tribunal and Bloodmoon were, I believe, $30 each when they were released. Recent Skyrim DLC, Dawnguard, is $10. Does Dawnguard contain 1/3 the content of Tribunal or Bloodmoon? Almost certainly not. To add up to a $30 expansion worth of content these days would probably cost $50-$60 worth of DLC.

I knew Charmin getting into the gaming industry would only bring misery.
