I just installed Civ 4 and an error arises with: MSVCR71.DLL and the game never starts. I tried reinstalling a new MSVCR71.DLL but same thing happens. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling theres no change. I press play, it starts to load and the problem comes up. I posted in other threads but no one responds, so I'm making my own thread! Please help me!!! I want to play the game!

Do you have Windows XP? And is it updated to most recent Service Pack and .Net Framework? If not update Windows XP - go to microsoft's update site

I know that .dll file has something to do with C++, so if you don't have the most recent Microsoft .Net you could have problems.
