[R&F] Do AI's ever participate in emergencies?

I've had three emergencies so far in AI games and in none of them has an AI participated. I'm in the third right now but I won the previous two easily which netted me a huge pot of gold. But what's with the AI's?

Yes, i had those. Even some where AI just took gold because they were at another continent and could do nothing about city state which was conquerd .. but chances are like in 80% situations you will be alone

I have had them join, one particularly annoying scenario was when I was conquering India and they joined in an emergency against my CS that Mongolia was attacking. Had to make peace till I liberated the CS.

I can't recollect the AI joining an emergency that I joined, i've only seen the AI join emergencies against me. (like when I captured a City State)

Hopefully World Congress will change all this.

they joined in quite a few in my games. there were some idk what happened, with only receiving a message it was successful or not.

They will if they have a reasonable chance to do it themselves. But they usually don't, and don't trust you to do it for them either.
