Hello,
First, this may be a very lame question, but I am not very computer savvy. I bought Civ 4 last night and loaded it fine, had no issues with running or seeing my CD drive, was able to start a first game.
So anyway, before I could begin playing, I got a pop-up that said my system did not meet the maximum performance requirements and that it would lower the settings it was being played at to compensate. During game-play, my units were fully functional, but the interface was "jerky" for lack of a better term. Meaning, when I would move the units, it wasn't smooth like Civ3, but it would take a fraction of a moment to register my input, then kinda "jump" to the square I wanted to go to, instead of cleanly making the transition.
So my question is; is that probably a RAM issue, or is it a video card issue? I know I have plenty of hard-drive capacity (11 gigs +/- before install), and my processor is good enough (1.5 mh), but I don't know what video card I have, nor do I remember how much RAM I have.
Sorry for being a nOOb...
Cheers,
Battch
