do plants stack?

Want to know if I build more than one plant, if there's any bonus beyond not polluting. Or does having more than one kind of plant (coal, hydro, nuke, solar) keeping adding to production?

No, you only get production from one power plant at a time. They're not additive.

I don't know if I've ever had manufacturing plants in any of my cities before. Back on topic, I wonder what would happen if I got Hoover Dam and then later decided to build a Nuke plant in one of the affected cities. I've never tried it, does anyone know what will happen?

The city would still have the hydro plant, but the nuclear plant bonus would replace the bonus of the hydro plant.

One thing to remember is that although they don't stack, if you still have a Coal Plant then it will still be producing pollution and costing money in upkeep.

Often I will build a Coal Plant when available to speed up building the Hoover Dam, then once built I have to remember to go back and sell off the Coal Plant.
