I am practicing dom victory and I see mixed answers when I look this up. Do Siege and Rams affect cavalary?

I think that they made it so recently rams don't affect cavs but I am not sure.

They work. It worked in my current Hungary game (though they don't work with levied units, only your own units). I tried them with both my Black Armies and Huzsar's.

They do. Really important if you want to do a Knight rush, just make sure you get to the AI walls with the ram before they get up 200 health medieval walls and the cities should melt.

The weird part is I've started playing "No reset" games, and weirdly enough, I've turned around a little about battering rams, but only because of the new wall values. Taking down a 200 or even 300 wall even with a Ram and melee units is actually quite hard, and I recently resorted to using Siege Towers for the second time ever playing Civ 6. This in turn made me turn to Siege units with Observation balloons and wanting to actually setup bombers to speed up taking cities. Coastal cities still go down just fine to Battleships though.

Did bump into what I think might be a bug where the Upgraded Drones don't seem to give the +5 strength when hitting cities.

Aren't drones supposed to give +5 strength? I believe so.

Ya, but in a game right now where I have artillery pieces with Drones supporting them and they get the +1 range, but not the +5 bombard. Found some funny quirks with them too. The drone can move 3 and supports in a range of 1 so like if you really wanted you could have a drone moving around supporting multiple siege pieces... However, if you put one of them in an escort formation with the siege unit, it will lose all of it's movement points when you fire.......... Worth noting, even in escort formation, the unit didn't get the +5 strength, so that doesn't seem to be the issue.

Haven't tried firing at a city in a range of 2 though, but that just seems really stupid as the city could fire back so the +5 strength would be largely wasted.
