Do we need Columbo in Civ III?

When you reach year 1900 - 2050 you will have all to many workers, but you dont want to "Join City" with all of them, in case of pollution etc. Therefore you´ll have some of them fortified...

Well the "point" is that today when I´ve played Civ III and my workers were finish with cleaning up pollution, they where on their way back to their town ( auto )... :crazyeyes

AND when they reach the city my infatry automaticly killed all three of them?? Why???! Does anyone have a explaination?

-Some of them where by the way captured from other civs...

I found it interesting you called it a Columbine. It is as if Infantry shot and killed the workers. I find that stupid bug.

Like in Columbine many people say the BATF, FBI, policemen, and SWAT teams went into Columbine and shot and killed students. Rachel Scott, a Columbine student, it was said on a helicopter camera that she was dragged by a cop on the floor face down (if you dont know if someone is shot dragging them will increase the wound).Also kids who were there were told by unknown people paraphrased "If you say anyone other than two shooters were there, we will kill you."

I would send the infantry to the "Russian Front" somewhere.

Maybe Firaxis added a new feature to make it tougher

So theres a conspiricy behind the shootings? This is new on me, does anyone to what reason did the government shoot innocent people or is it just plain stupid conspiracy; like those who think that the gov. is lying to us when they say the earth is round and there is no dinosaurs on the moon.

I am sure that fireaxis have programmed a secret seriel killer unit into the game.. and he goes around killing innocent workers.... When do the FBI unit come??

The conspiracy theories regarding columbine are nothing new, and like all such theories, have some compelling evidence to support them. Unfortunately, for every reliable witness and informant, there are five liars who will say anything just to get on tv. Personally, i think that there is some merit to the columbine theory, because there was just too many suspicious things going on before, during, and immediately after the event. The issue is further befuddled by peolpe who think controversy and conflicting reports = lying.

Yeah its a dumb bug.I havent seen Fireaxis or anyone even bother adressing it ever. The only trhing I have seen to fix it is to start a new game. or get invaded and let an enemy raze it.Not sure why it happens, there is no know explaination, you can move freindly units out all day, then put a freindly in there.But while hes in there he is a hostile.He will try and kill anything you move in there. LOL. It really sucks, and Fireaxis wont even address it. Thank god its a rare occurence though.
