do you find the balseraphs really scary?

I really like these 2 leaders( Perpentach and Keelyn).The music and their look is just a piece of art, considering that they really have something which scares.Sometimes i have to open more than one time diplomacy window just to see their look and to hear the diplomacy music.It's like enjoying an horror movie.
Do you find balseraphs leaders so scary and so well characterized?

One time I chose to be Falamar and I encountered Keelyn. It was a little creepy when she says "Don't Let Them Leave!" and she has the +2 modifier saying "You're charming."

The Balseraph certainly have a distinct deranged kind of appeal to them. Both Perpentach in his complete and utter insanity, and Keelyn in her weird sort of reality detached quasi-regression. She's really like that horrible little kid from the Twilight Zone with awesome powers but a child's mind.

Brrh. But then, part of the charm with FFH is that a lot of the leaders (and by extension, civilizations) have rather distinct personalities / themes / 'feels' to them. Some are more cliché and stereotype, others are rather unique, but all are well-done and interesting, and thus charming. I often find myself succumbing to the urge to "do what I think the leader would do" and quasi-roleplay them.

Of course it tends not to turn out so well, but that's life..!
