do you have problems with PTW?

I had no problems with main game,but seems to me that PTW has to many bugs,appearing in late game,so I don't remember finishing any game properly.The most errors are in pediaIcons.txt file (missing entry in ANIMNAME_PRTO_Leader Modern times or something similar...)

already patched it? ptw1.27 is the latest + last official patch.

If you're getting "Missing File" messages, it may not be the patch. You may need to reinstall.

I've had PTW for more than a year now and never had a prob like that, except when I put a new unit in the game and forgot to do all the proper editing.

Haven't had a problem with it in years since the first patches started coming out. If you have always had the problems try a fresh re-install/patching. It seems as soon as you hammer the bugs out they don't return.

Maybe getting Conquest is solution...it has all the patches and more...till then-main game ( ....the worst thing in main game is there is no fortify all,wake all,abandon city....which help sometimes really much

No - a reinstall should fix that.

An ANIMNAME_PRTO crash isn't really require you to reinstall the game. Ain't a huge unfixable problem. JUst a text enty in the pediacons files is all thats needed.

My main problem with PTW is that multiplayer wasn't included in the original Civ3.
