Let me look in my CD rack :)

CivGeneral looks trough the CD rack

Yep, I have PTW :).

While I prefer PTW over vanilla personally, I do not think that switching to PTW would be such a good idea mid-game. There may be some problems that arise from such a move.

I currently don't.

No, I don't have PTW. Most likely next game will use PTW, not next term.

no, but i don't plan on being involved as anything other than a regular citizen as this game seems to take a lot of personal time.

octa: but can name units for example ?

anyways, refrain from stating what you voted. the moderators seem to be pretty touchy about stating what you vote lately (hey, this was a joke! dont ban me! nooooo....!)

I've been able to upgrade swords from Civ3 games in PTW.

we could treat ptw like a civ3 patch and just decide to change to it if we like. there is nothing in our rules to prevent us form doing so (only we should get citizen approval for it :-)

Attempting to play a 1.29 save under PtW seems far too risky to me. At best we will notice no difference - but then what is the actual point? At worst we will end up finishing this game prematurely due to some problem with the save. In between those two poles there are all kinds of possibilities for the game to act in ways we do not expect. Staying with 1.29 seems far preferable to me.

if we would have put that argument onto the other patches, we would still stick with 1.0 :-)

did anybody ever try continuing a 1.29f save with ptw? any reports on cfc on that?

This poll needs to be heavily advertised to ensure a very high level of participation. As it will likely be used in discussion and even planning of a switch to PTW we must have feedback of a great majority of active players.
