Does anybody know a good map from Scandinavia

I have been looking for good, or at least ok map from skandinavia (well, nordic, really)
and I haven't been able to find even one! Everyone of them sucked real bad.
Now, does ANYONE knows a good map from this area, or otherwise I'll make a one myself.

I found a map of Denmark in the download section that was somewhat playable (there's a scandinavian map there too, but I agree with you that it is'nt very good).
It's a good idea - go on make a good Scandinavian map.

Give us a tip when you're done?

Too late, I made the map already. Uhum, I made it rushily out of my memory, but I think
it is better than any nordic map I've seen. I would be very grateful if u see any
mistakes at the map. I'll hope this is ok... Would u say if this map is ok (or it sucks<IMG SRC="http://forums.civfanatics.com/ubb/smile.gif" border=0>)?

I don't know where I got this one, but I think it is a fairly accurate representation of scandinavia...

I don't know about better country. What do you mean? Sweden is bigger and have more people.
I wish I paid more attention to my history classes, but I don't know who Sten Sture is, nor about any wars. All I know is that heads rolled in denmark...I think Gustav Vasa's father....something like that.

heh the 4 tile island between Sweden and Latvia should be Gotland . Its good if you change it to your liking

Denmark was on top in our wars for most of the middle ages. Until our (meaning us: the Danes, I am Danish...) king Christian IV (king from 1559 to 1588) screwed it all up. He was a hopeless warmonger with no talent for fighting al the wars he engaged in. Then it all turned to the advantage of the Swedes and then we helped Napoleon and we lost wars with the Germans later in history. All in all, that's why we're so small today.
But in the Middle Ages we were by far superior in power and we even had the entire Scandinavia under our throne for a while.

A short Danish history from the 1300's to the 1870's...
