Does anyone know if there is going to be another patch?

If so do you think there is any chance they would change or add a switch that allows you to receive all the messages from AI turns in one batch at the start of your next turn.

I only ask because I play huge games and though I have a great pc, the turns can still often take 15-30 minutes (HUGE games), it would be great if I could leave the computer to think and then return 30 minutes later and look at and react too all the things that occurred

Try eating during the turn - at least it won't be a waste of time . Kidding... I had the same problem before updating my computer, so I know it's very disapointing. Though I think it would help to add RAM to your PC, or change your prossesor. I don't know much about computers so don't trust me a lot .

I'm puzzled here. I often play large/huge games with maximum numbers of civs and even on a mid-range laptop (2Ghz Celeron) I never see game turn times as bad as people make out, certainly not anywhere near 15 minutes.

im on a Celeron 500 with 128 mb ram and im on a huge map and ive never seen a turn take more than 5 min... enough time for me to inhale a big mac... hmmmmm big mac
