I havent seen the answer anywhere else so would like to know since FFH is not as fun without FF =(

I have a general question of how FF relates to FfH. Is there a plan on what will remain in FF only and what is sort of planned to eventually make it's way into FfH?

Mostly I'm wondering about the different FF races, especially the 'new' Scions. Is there any plan to eventually get them in to FfH or are the races there all we're going to get? Personally, I would like to see the old Fall Into Revolution code get used to let Barb civ's grow into minor Civs and see races like the Dural and Kahdi show up more as minor races for flavor.

Of course I'd also like to see the Hippus be a nomadic race using the old Mongol movable camps from the Warlords scenario but I doubt that's going to happen.

The only things which will make it into base FfH are those which Kael decides he likes, and he has to like them a LOT since he is past Feature Lock now. New Civilizations don't stand a chance of making it in at all though.

Depends on how tolerant the publuc is of crashes. I could have pushed the team to release it yesterday when it crashed immediately after pressing Custom Game, or last week when it crashed at the end of turn 1, possibly the week before that when it was crashing before turn 100 every time.

Hrm... I seem to be moving in the wrong direction for fixing these crashes.....

(And for those of you less possessed of a sense of humor, I have fixed each of those crashes individually, but in general it has taken me an entire week to sort it out to being stable again, or I have had to ditch a potential new feature/tweak)

Trust me though, it will have been worth the wait when it does release :)

Okay here is MY question on the subject...

A co-worker and I play FF multiplayer. we have talked about it so much another co-worker wants to join us. However we can't find an old enough version of FfH to have him Download so he can play FF with us.

Are we stuck playing FfH until FF's new version comes out or are the version of FfH before .40 (.34?) and patches still out there somewhere?

I'm looking forward to it.

Are you guys going to include the forest chop at mining/jungle chop at bronze as per FFH 0.40? I hope so - it gives more options in the early game.

urgh CTDs really are a . .. .. .. .. .... you could release a beta FF with warnings saying there are lots of crashes and then the public can help you bug hunt. (hint hint ;) :p) but eitherway good luck stomping on htose CTDs. keep us updated!

You could probably just email him the file or burn it to a CD or DVD. (assuming you had the proper version) :)

As long as your Fall Further 043 directories are both exact copies of each other's, everything will work fine for playing. So the easiest solution would just be to copy your entire folder to disc/flashdrive and pass it along to him.

People also need to understand that FFH .40 is still being tweaked as it hasn't been out to long.So theirs no hurry until it's stable plus with the holidays it will
be a little while.Keep up the great work FF Team.:)

Sadly I don't :(

Ahh I never dreamed it would be that easy, so few programs let you simply copy the folder contents anymore, I never thought to try that.

Thank you, will do this today and have him playing by tomorrow.

Is there any chance, that there would be full-scale Jotnar population included with the new "compatible" version of the mod?

Not on this version - we've got our "big features" set for 044 and they're approaching completion (give or take a little instability in a known area of the code, which is being worked on)
