Should we Revolt? If so, to which government do we revolt?

If passed (Republic), the revolt will take place at turn after rushes are made, so they are completed. A revolt would be short, since we are religious.

If passed (Democracy), we will revolt, after the tech is discovered.

I would like to follow the parallel timeline of Japan, upon reaching Nationalism, we should transfer, since we need the Rifleman and Draft to back up such a system.

Would go with republic to match Meiji Japan.

I am hereby requesting a Poll as to When The Revolt should take place. I, personally, favor holding off on a Revolt until we end our current War. (Unless someone else calls us out before...)

I forget about the fact that people still want to spill blood. In that case, it would be after the war.

I voted for Democracy and would like to see us switch after we end the war. We might want to organize plans for a switch to a Republic if war is declared on us again.

Republic. None of the bleeding heart peace activists of democracy but still good commerce benefits.

Democracy all the way. The time of bloody conquest must come to an end. We need to start improving the lives of our nation's citizens, and stop ending the lives of others'. Since we're not going for a conquest victory, I see no reason not to revolt to Democracy at the nearest opportunity. It provides the most benefits and zero negatives; all we need to do is keep out of wars. Now that the age of railroads is coming, the 150% worker production boost democracy gives will allow us to build our rail-net faster, and thus benefit from it sooner. The extra commerce is also invaluable to research and can be used for trades to improve our standing in the world.

The time of Monarchy is at an end! Let us unite in glorious Democracy for the good of Japanatica! You have nothing to lose but your chains!!

Those who read and participate in all the polls would realize that the Growth and Production Science Doctrine is leading quite handily. The current leader of this poll(Democracy) will not even be considered under this doctrine.

Therefore, a vote for Democracy is a vote for enduring Monarchy until we get the Hoover Dam. Otherwise, it is in direct contrast to another binding poll.

Don't make yet another voting blunder, Japananatica. Get your priorities straight this time and vote Republic. We need the money to waste on the Yatta Palace slush fund.

You aren't taking into consideration that we will probably acquire Democracy by trade.

Democracy is the way to go at this point.

Well, make another voting blunder people, please vote against someone, but VOTE CONSISTENTLY and think in a bigger picture. Either vote Republic OR assure we get Democracy in the polls.
