is it 60% that you need to get to win by domination??
is this av land area or does it include sea areas??

also, when you change a map size and increase the civ nos-what ratio does the map increase by..

The ratio stays the same for all maps unless you mod that yourself. It is set for 66% land and 66% population. Coastal tiles count for domination but not sea or ocean.

Oh, wait... when you asked

also, when you change a map size and increase the civ nos-what ratio does the map increase by..

i thought you were asking if the domination percentages changed. I'm thinking that is probably wrong so I will leave that one for all our math types.

Not sure what the question is here. First domination is always 66% land and pop, regardless of the map size.

If your question is " when you change a map size and increase the civ numbers", the number of nations does not alter the domination either.

If you change the map dimension by the default, it is std = 100x100, large 130x130 and huge 160x160. You are able to make the map up to 362x362.

the question is: does the land area domination factor include sea tiles in your empire, or just land tiles.

my answer is that i dont think it includes sea because it is called 'land area'.

Not really, think about real life. Countires consider waters close to the land it owns, it's "territory".
