When I first got the game it ran fine nice and smooth pretty quick all the videos played my setting are all on high. Now that I have played a few games probably 40-50hrs it takes about 10-15 min to load my saved game and takes 5-10 min for each turn to pass. when you move around the map it's like a slideshow. I have done everything i can think of cause Im assuming this is because of that memory leak problem. I have cleaned up my drive, I have defraged, re-started, completly shut it down and left it for a couple hours I have deleted old programs and games i dont use anymore nothing helps and It's just slowly getting slower and slower. It's to the point that I cant play it any more because after about 2 turn i wanna put my foot through the computer I dont have the patience for this. I just looked at the clock and I put the game in the drive about 3:10 It's now 4:40 and I played 2 turns anyone have any idea how to fix this or will the patch fix it cause I cant even play any more

I forgot to add a couple of things. it takes even longer between turns if one of the AI trys to contact you I have waited 17 min for one turn to pass once. also it freezes alot and my computer sounds like it's about to blow up. Sometimes once I finally manage to get out of the game which also take 10-20 min I get a little warning that says my virtual memory is low but it doesnt happen every time but the game is still just as slow. also it doesnt affect any other programs once im out of the game the Internet whatever they all run fine.

Oh ya and Im not running any other programs while Im playing.

My suggestion: boot up the game, go to the graphics options settings and set the renderer and shader for low and the game graphics to medium; AA to 0. Save and Exit. Restart the game...that helped me, even with a 256MB video card; with little difference in the graphics. The save game files are larger as the game progresses and your graphics adapter may be choking up; just a guess on my part. I know that these changes let me finally run the game with large maps and with the movies working fine. I still get some CTD's after a while, but I just save often and restart the game again...that works until the patch comes out, anyway...

It's the same no matter how far along in the game I am whether Im just strting or in the Industrial doesnt matter still ridiculously slow. My problem is that it wasnt slow before not at all. Everything worked fine and now it doesnt if it's a memory leak problem shouldn't it reset once i restart the computer?
