Doto [AdvCiv ModMod]

hello folks,
sorry for the late reply.

@<Nexus>
well the idea it self is pretty nice. adds in some excitement for corps.
implementation wise, should not be a probem.
personally,
i never liked corporations and had an option to play without'em.

as for modding,
i barely do anything, let alone playing.
my civ4 mod comes quick and goes even quicker.
having civ7 in the horizon, gets me curious of what its reception would be. that affects my modding vide.

although i merged all of the advciv recent updates along with some fixes,
i dunno about new stuff.
Mr Smith there pointed out , if any i should work on the existing feature.

as for HR and its structure, thats appeals to me,
take the mod, use my code structure and push in my personal flavor additions.
but again, not seeing my self drawn into a large scale project of modding as i once was happy to do.

will see how things are,
i cant say goodbye to civ4 and modding, but , some part of me is hoping civ7 will be that good , mostly, AI,
that it will bring a great game to the table that i could actually think to my self, well , finally a civ game that is worth playing over modding :)

Huh here is an idea!

An attack vs a stack,
Has a chance to push units a tile away!

Example:
10 unit vs 5 units

A unit from the 5 unit, attacks and loses vs the 10 units,
But a x% chance of pushback happend,
So 1 unit got moved 1 tile away from the stack.

Can play with settings:
Units can be scattered around (to eligible tile).
Maybe higher sized stack cant push smaller stack? Giving the under stack a chance?
Sole units can be pushed 2 tiles away?

Interesting idea IMO

Sounds like 'retreat' ability on defending units.

well, work in progress:

Huh... ( strokes goatee and states in a Machiavellian voice) Interesting. Very interesting.

well,
what do we think about Ages for my mod?
like civ7?

though im probably gonna immerse in 7 in 2 days,
im still motivated ,

i really like the unit deletion between ages, maybe improvements changes,
population reduction?
building changes?
piece between nations?
tile changes?

I'm so unimpressed by Civ7 but...
though im probably gonna immerse in 7 in 2 days,
...may you enjoy yourself 🙂
Really! If it works for you than it's great but for me it's like Heroes4 after Heroes3.

nonono you say,
well, to the bin it is.
I mean... that's not Civ4.

There are lot of good ideas in Civ 5-6, Humankind and Millenia that inspired me and want to add some form of them to CoM but Civ7's "3 eras only but with 3 different civs", that's... That's a completely different game. The comparison is not even Homm3 to Homm4 but rather SimCity4 to SimCity Societies.

I did enjoy Homm4 (to some extant) but in general both Homm4 and SCSocieties were both great failures. I'm curious how it will be with C7...

-- Doto 1.15 progress.
almost done with my Government updates (big ones).
-- civic overhaul.
-- natural wonder addition (and help nexus along the way)

-- combat mechanics idea:
1. units or range will have a shock effect, chance to push units to other tiles when in stack.
2. route units -> units being attacked have a chance to routed back a city
3. units cap based on population and other attributes

route units -> units being attacked have a chance to routed back a city
Do you have mechanics for spies returning to nearest city instead of capital?
