Doto [AdvCiv ModMod]

I haven't had any crashs except the ones I cuased or the normal game ones you get once in a while.

2 woods are already done in the downloads section.

Civics don't bother me , but a "normal" cheap ones for each catagory whould make the game more appealing to some people and possibly improve the AI; giving him more money to get a larger army.
 
First, I like 1.5!

I like what you have done with the tech tree so far (just getting to feudalism in 1.5).
One thing though, you might want to space out trade and currency – adding a tech or 2 in-between them; they give a real big boost to economy – possibly making currency a different tech path also.

You may want to make a “Barter System” civic to help pay for those expensive civics. – if you do this, add penalties at some point for civs not using x civics – so the human player does not rack up lots of gold by using no civics. – This is tricky and can quickly imbalance the game. –The best solution is to give cheap default civics in every category – I say "every" because the AI tends to use them all – even if is detrimental to its economy/military. Now if the AI will use the “cheap” civics instead of the more expensive ones is another matter.

I noticed also, at least with the civ I played (Khmer), the last 2 default civics, shamanism and ignorance where not selected when I started the game, not sure if this by design or is a bug.

The Mali civ new leader tag lines should be updated; i.e. instead of saying “wonderful” at first meeting he should say some like – you lucky I’m busy right now and don’t kick your a$$ - he should also start as annoyed instead of cautious. – He should also change how he feels about oppenent quicker when he doesn’t like what the other civs are doing i.e. he stayed cautious with me even when my religion was different and I refused to help him a least 6 times. He is going to war a lot…just not with me. That’s a good thing as the French are real strong and I’ve been at war with them along with the weaker Mongols. The Mali are dead last in my game even though I gave them a good start – think they lost their second city to barbarians.

I added the new resource tga to the game, in the city screen they don’t match up except salt, but in the trade screen, with the ones that where available are correctly displayed.

Not sure about how you adjusted the overpowered units; I’ll have to play some more to see if they are balance. I have the Rahgasta for my civ – gets a lot of small bonuses and cost almost double – could be an imbalance if you don’t have copper or iron but have horseback riding. If the AI needs to poprush, the cost will make his cities a 1 in no time. You could counter this with a new civic that reduces sacrifice cost and is minus research if you think the AI would know to use it when it needs to sacrifice a lot.

The AI is using warrior cast to much – you should change this to similar values as theology – mostly use when at war – maybe gives minus research as well...
 
A small problem I ran in to, started a new 1.5 game was doing great had the beginning wonders, but ran in to a big problem when I founded the new religion and got my first great prophet.... the new religion shrine was not giving me any money. The Yaoyorozu no Kami is the one that is broken, I have attached a screen shot. The Adur Burzen-Mihr works just fine. So just means I will skip that religion and only focus on the 2nd one from now on.

Great job, and thanks for all your efforts in this so far.
I've been playing 1.4, no problem, and just installed 1.5. When I load 1.5, I get the following message:
Initialization render failed.
Check DirectX installation, latest graphics drivers and graphics settings.
Width: 1024
Height: 768
Flags: 0xc
hwnd: 0x901bc
adaptrid: 0
devicerd=1

Everything else is working fine in driversBTS, other mods, and your 1.4, and I have current drivers.
Any ideas?
 
Small tweaks:
Game speed needs to be adjusted for the addition techs.
Event:
“Our brothers in faith of the true “Taoist”…..I’m Shinto, He’s Shinto.

Raghasta shouldn’t cost more than a Ballista Elephant.


Imbalances:

Shinto Elephant Rider to powerful:
10
+25% withdraw
+25% hills
+30% city
+60% vs mounted

Starts with flanking and +30% vs mounted is plenty – makes it a 13 vs a 12 cuirassier – should upgrade to Calvary or a gun elephant.

warrior_monk is also to powerful and should upgrade to gun unit or a stronger sword before rifle.
 
Warrior Monks has a lot of possibilities - +20% attack if civ is not of the same faith. And/Or cost no gold (fighting for faith not money!)– limit to x amount per temple, monastery, cathedral.

Can you add this mod in urs?! It is to alow the bombers, for exemple, destroy routes! Its easy acordinly with "Grave" and "TheLopez" (but i cant do!!! HaHa!), take a look:

I notice two "bugs" too:

First one is that when i build the shrine of a religion (i tried Shinto and Confucionism), it doesnt give me gold from the cities that have the religion. This is really a bug or is your intention??!??

The second one is the missed numbers of workers (population) in the Israelites cities. You know?! Next the name of the city there is a number with the workers in that city. Not for Israel, with Solomon leader. Dunno why this happens and i toke a print of it. Infortunelly, im at work and the print is in my PC at home. Infortunelly again the "logmein.com" is not working too! So, i unable to send the print till the weekend, when im at home. HeHe!

And what do I see? I see that Keldath has gone and changed the cost of techs, havin' an adverse effect on the gamespeeds I put so much o' me time and energy inta! Yar! WHY didn't he consult me?! Were there a problem before with me speeds? Arrrr! Perhaps that scallywag will gain a bit-o-wisdom and send me a private missive requesting my assistance in re-balancing things a bit...

Here it is your print! :) Like i said! No number of workers at Israelite cities (Jerusalem and Cuzco = ???)! But the numbers are there for all the rest, like you can see at the Incan city (Tiwanaku = 5 workers).
