i currently downloaded some files High Elves and CHAOS units, they look fantastic but theres no readme as where to instal them or no help what so ever. im just wondering where do i add them and is there a way to add it to a mod i found called Civ ++(which is fantasic btw). I love this game, but i rarely find mods which have a readme file for a noobie =/.

you should ask into the creation and customization forum, or better, to the person who created those files.

usually when downloading "units" ect. you are not downloading an actual unit, but rather the model and skin for it. Usually to make it work in the game you will need to manually add it in, in the XML file(s) for units, and the art file for units.
The only exception is if they're modular, in that case you need to put it in the "modules" folder and turn on modular loading in the ini file of the mod.
