Hi there,

So i pulled out my old Civ3 disc the other day with the plan to play it again after many years gathering dust.

I used to be an addict but work, marriage and kids put a stop to that.

Just a question - I tried installing the disc again but it comes up with an error with one of the files, i think the scratches on the disc might cause the issue - is there a resource where you can download that particular file (it's one of the big dat files i think) - or am I stuffed and just need to buy it again?

Cheers

I'm afraid you're out of luck. However, Civ3 Complete is available from several download services (such as Steam, Direct2Drive, probably a couple others), usually for $5, with occasional sales. If you only had the regular version, you'll be in for a treat with the included expansions.

Right now Civ3 appears to be on sale for $3.34 on a couple of the sites.

Or pick up Civ3 Complete from Amazon or eBay.

Civ3 Complete (C3C) is all three versions of Civ3 (vanilla, Play the World and Conquests) in one install of 3 CDs. Each version is fully patched. The default game is Conquests but you can start a game as Play the World or vanilla.
