Downloads for Civ

Ok, so I have just downloaded the basic Civ 4 and the two expansions and all patches on my computer. Now all I have to do is wait for the regular version to activate. How long does that usually take? It's been happening for about 40 minutes now, and I am starting to get impatient...

If something IS wrong, what can I do to fix it?

where did you buy the digital distribution from? you should probably contact them for activation.

I bought it from the Direct2 Drive site, I think the problem is not with the game, it is with my computer. I know how the activation screen is look, but all that pops up is an empty window. Nothing pertaining to the actual program pops up at all... imagine Firefox (Intenet) with no task bars, no menu, no site input, no nothing. Just the window itself.

I was just wondering how to fix this... possibly manually request activation from the site?

you should contact direct2drive - but this sounds more like a corrupted install than an activation problem: I'd recommend redownloading it and trying a new install - if this is vista or 7 make sure to rightclick on the installer and choose run as admin.
