Does the gold patch work for with the scenerios on this site that call for the MGE (multi player gold) edition of the game? I'd like to try some of them, but I only have Civ2 and Fantasitic Worlds.

Lobo: You would need to convert your version using the above link as well. The patch on the site only updates exisitng versions of MPG.

Yeah. Its so cheap you can just as well own several different versions of the same game.

hard to find.Generally they only last a few minutes on E-Bay.
Last time I saw it at a retailer was some 2 years ago.It was bundled with Risk Gold Edition.

Balooney. Theres *tons* of it at eBay. They're also found at Amazon.

So you really dont have a valid reason to DL a game (except being cheap).

Goodness, one second ago I'm talking about how cheap the game is, now I'm in this thread.

For my experience, Civ2 (gold) is all over the place. Can't go into a game store without finding it. Upgrade to Civ3 already!
