Iam struggling in RL and this mod give me sometimes so many headshots that iam feeling cursed.

I understand.
I have many works/projects (scientific and hobby) too.
I want to work on each of them, but have very plenty time.

How to install this version? I have not left the old versions.

This version is complete, so you do not need earlier versions.
But you need to know where Steam put the mods directory.
In my case it was
c:\users\<my name>\my documents\my games\Sid Meier's Civ 5\mods

I get a version error when I tried to download the October 10th update. In the mods menu in-game, I cannot click the enable check. It says that the mod is not compatible with my game version. I downloaded and paid for the game through steam; I didn't torrent it or anything. Any idea whats happening? My version shows as 1.3.9
